About Me

I am a freelance multimedia journalist and senior at the University of Colorado. I have worked at the Minnesota Star Tribune, Colorado Sun, Estes Valley Voice and Boulder Daily Camera. Additionally, my work has been featured by Colorado Public Radio, Denver Westword, Aspen Public Radio and Rocky Mountain Community Radio. I have a passion for feature and enterprise reporting. I have topic expertise in sports, politics, business and transportation. 

I gained my first byline my sophomore year at Monarch High School in Louisville, CO as a reporter for the student newspaper. I've since worked for nine student media outlets at the high school and college levels, serving in leadership roles for eight.  Currently I am the editor-in-chief of Mountain Time Magazine, which was founded by myself d and several other students at the University of Colorado Boulder. Additionally, I am the business reporter for the schools sports media outlet Sko Buff Sports. 

I strive to be a swiss army knife in both my coverage areas and mediums. I have experience reporting for print, digital, audio, video and shoot my own photos. My reporting has won several state, regional and national awards. My reporting on the harrasment of Mormon CU students at a football game won the Hearst Journalism Awards sports writing category. In 2024 and 2026, I was selected as a finalist for the Hearst National Writing Championship in San Francisco.
