About Me

I am currently a public affairs reporter for the Estes Valley Voice and a freelance multimedia reporter. My work has been featured in The Colorado Sun, Denver Westword, Boulder Daily Camera and Rocky Mountain Community Radio. I have a passion for feature and enterprise reporting. I have topic expertise in sports, politics and transportation.
I gained my first byline my sophomore year at Monarch High School in Louisville, CO as a reporter for the student newspaper. I've since worked for nine student media outlets at the high school and college levels, serving in leadership roles for eight. Currently, I serve as the editor of Mountain Time Sports Report, which was founded by myself and several students at CU Boulder. I write its newsletter and manage the staff of ten.
I strive to be a swiss army knife in both my coverage areas and mediums. I have experience reporting for print, digital, audio, video and shoot my own photos. My reporting has won several state, regional and national awards. In 2024, I was selected as a finalist for the Hearst Foundation's National Writing Championship in San Francisco.
